David

David was the shepherd ‘underdog’ who took on Goliath and won. He would eventually become King of Israel. He was known for his humility, bravery and love of God.

The Lord is my light and my salvation—

whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life—

of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27: 1-2)

Joshua

Joshua was picked to lead the Israelites into the Promised land. He was known for his trust in God amidst significant obstacles and for his ability to organise people to achieve a goal.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

Gideon

Gideon was a judge over Israel and hero liberator of his people. He was known for his reliance on God when facing seeming insurmountable challenges. 

I will not rule over you, nor will my son rule over you. The Lord will rule over you. (Judges 8:23)

Clubs

Break-time clubs are a way for students to continue their learning outside of the classroom and engage in a range of interest areas. There are a number of organised clubs for different age groups, including arts and crafts, imaginative dramatic play, and building and construction. Clubs are based on student response and are run weekly or as per student interest allows.
