NVCCS is a school community where your child is welcomed, loved, supported and encouraged. Our graduates are adults who care, contribute and conduct life with confidence. 

Christ is the foundation on which all our relationships, curriculum, policies, and actions rest. Our teachers incorporate Biblical truth throughout our learning and teaching practices, and demonstrate the grace of Christ in our behaviour and interactions with others. 

Families in the region choose NVCCS for many reasons. These include, but are not limited to, it’s Christian values, the size of the school and class sizes, it’s safe and supportive environment and because of the K-12 schooling option in one location. 

The quality of teacher/student relationships is very high, as is the quality of discipline and behaviour management. There is also an affordable level of school fees and our facilities and buildings are of a high standard.

Our Mission

The school seeks to provide schooling in accordance with the educational objectives and Confession of Faith of Christian Schools Australia, namely:

a) To provide an education of high academic standards integrating with, and adhering to the Bible, based on:

1. An acceptance of the Lordship of Jesus Christ: and
2. An acceptance of the Bible as the revealed Word of God, as these are defined in the Confession of Faith of the School;

b) To provide an education that also:

1. Fosters self discipline in the learner while teaching him/her to accept the discipline of the Church which is the Body of Christ, to be obedient to his/her parents and to obey the laws of the Government;
2. Caters for the individuality of the learner and stresses the function of the learner as a member of the Body of Christ and of the community;
3. Trains learners in the moral and ethical standards of the Bible as interpreted in the teaching of the New Testament and assists them to acquire a biblical world and life view, and to interact respectfully with others' world views:
4. Develops the learner's creative and critical abilities;
5. Stresses co-operation rather than competition and fosters the development of the gifts and skills for the service of Jesus Christ in the Body of Christ and in the community.
