During June 2009, the school underwent architectural modifications in relation to noise reduction from traffic along the Pacific Highway. This included the installation of nineteen double-glazed / second inset, set of windows with an air cushion between each set. A split air-conditioning system was installed in the library as well as a fresh air induction facility into each classroom. Extra seals and drop seals have been installed on each entrance to classrooms. The school gratefully acknowledges this generous provision through the RTA of this project which has been in the pipeline since 2006.
