Page 4 of 4 School Captains and Prefects must wear long trousers (boys only), school tie? (boys only), navy blue stockings (girls only) and school jacket (boys and girls) when representing the school at official functions e.g. Anzac Day ceremony, Presentation Evening. Embroidered badges presented to students attaining C.I.S./P.S.S.A. status in swimming, cross country and athletics may be sewn onto the centre of the right sleeve (from the top) of the school jacket in recognition of their high achievement. The netball association badge, required to be worn when playing, is to be sewn onto the centre of the left sleeve of the sports shirt, 1 cm above the sleeve hem. Badges, other than those mentioned above and the school badge, are not to adorn the school uniform without the permission of the Principal. Hair Styles Boys hairstyles are to be modestly cut above the collar line and not to cover the face or ears. Girls with longer than shoulder length hair must keep their hair tied back with ribbons, or scrunchies of appropriate colour i.e. red, white or blue.
'Outlandish' hairstyles, such as "punk", "spikes", "rats tails", long hair undercuts, dyed hair etc., are not appropriate for the school and should therefore not be worn. The term 'outlandish' is interpreted to mean those hair styles pursued by individuals intent on drawing attention to themselves instead of reflecting the humility of Christ, or making a statement of rebellion against society and authority instead of reflecting the submissiveness of Christ.
