ICAS Academic CompetitionsEach year, students from Year 3-6 enter ICAS Academic Competitions in English, Mathematics, Science and Computers; attaining academic success in different fields. LANNA — Literacy and Numeracy TestingThe School undertakes Literacy and Numeracy Testing through ACER to comply with requirements in schooling for the Federal Government. Students in Year 3 and 5 are tested annually with Benchmarks being reached consistently.

Kindergarten and Year 1 are assessed annually to identify students at risk. Computer Education
Our school sets a high priority on Computer Skills in Education. All classes receive computer education. Primary Classrooms have internet connections, as well as the school library. Principal's AwardsPrincipal Awards have been established to recognize attitude, giftedness and service in our students and to celebrate as a school community how God is blessing individual lives and our school community as a whole. Three levels of achievement can be attained — Bronze, Silver and Gold. Bronze level: achievement appropriate to age in one of the following:
Academic
Creative Arts School Representation School Citizenship /Leadership Sportsmanship Heart for God
Recipients are invited to lunch with the Principal and photo is displayed on the front notice board.
Silver level: attainment is from a different category in the above list to what has already been recognized. Students will be invited to share morning tea with the staff and again have their photo displayed in the front office. Gold level: achievement for service outside of the school. Only those who have achieved 'silver' are eligible for 'gold'. The 'Gold' candidate must select a service and apply to the Principal to discuss what the service will be and how it will be achieved. When endorsed, parents will need to monitor the service and ensure the project has been carried out as agreed. Students who attain this award receive:
Kindergarten to Year 4 — Gift voucher from 'Eternal Waters' Bookshop
Years 5&6 — Gift Voucher from 'Eternal Waters' Bookshop and a 'Pizza This / Pizza That' Family Voucher. All Recipients of this award have an article submitted to the local newspapers and receive their framed certificate on Presentation Night. Recipients of the Gold Principal's Award have undertaken community service such as —
